Hello, Kelli.

I was looking up the definition of creativity, and I like that it says, “the ability to transcend traditional ideas,” as one of its meanings. I like that, it seems like it is saying the ability to think beyond what is in front of us. I think when we describe someone as creative, we do tend to relate it to the arts or some kind of manual creation, but it really does go far beyond that. It seems it is an approach to living rather than an ability to draw, crochet, design, etc. It’s more aligned with how we think, I guess? Being willing to look at other ways of doing something, other people’s points-of-view, rather than just holding our ground all of the time?

I loved what you said here: “Creativity proliferates best in a malleable mind.”
